(I posted this last night as a reply in another thread. This is where it really belongs.)
Each GooseGrade user has two roles: editor and site owner. As I go from page to page, it's not immediately clear whether the information I'm looking at pertains to me as an editor or to me as a site owner.
The "edits" links are particularly confusing: When I click one, I don't know whether I will see edits I submitted or edits that other people submitted to me.
In addition, I (still) don't know what the "Statistics" part of my profile represents -- the quality of the sites I own or the quality of the edits I have submitted.
The copy-editing principle "Never sacrifice clarity for brevity" is applicable here. I like the simplicity of one-word links and labels, but not if it's unclear what the one word really means.
So clearer text labels would make a difference. If you want to make a huge difference, have different colors or 'brands' for the editor-oriented pages and the site-owner-oriented pages.
Thanks again!
